Back Macau and Hong Kong Hot Spots for Illegal Gambling Activity?

Chinese police have shut down several illegal gambling operations which seems to be in support of former FIFA security chief Chris Eaton's comments that Macau and Hong Kong are hot spots for Asian illegal online gambling industry.

Eaton was interviewed by the South China Morning Post and claimed that both areas are home to "...massive illegal online gambling operations, mostly but not exclusively feeding into and out of mainland China.”

He noted that the arrest of Asians tied to World Cup football wagers in Las Vegas was significant in determining the size of such operations.
