Premier League: Chelsea allowed to field weakened team against Liverpool
Chelsea are not expected to face punishment from the Premier League if manager Jose Mourinho will decide to field a weakened team at Liverpool on Sunday. Blackpool faced such punishment in 2011 but regulations have changed since then. Only if several under-21 players will be fielded in the starting eleven the Premier League will take action against the club. Jose Mourinho has hinted the club's priority is Wednesday's Champions League semi-final second leg with Atletico Madrid, but that statement could well be a mind-game directed at Liverpool. Chelsea got a goalless draw in the first leg of the tie at Atletico Madrid. In the Premier League Chelsea are still in with a chance in the title race, they are second behind Liverpool and five points behind the leaders with three games left in the season. However, Manchester City are just one point behind Chelsea with a game in hand so they will probably leapfrog the Blues. Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel could both feature at Anfield since they are suspended for the second leg against Atletico Madrid. Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah could also play against Liverpool because they are ineligible for European competitions this season. Chelsea will be without goalkeeper Petr Cech and captain John Terry, both injured. Here are the odds for Sunday's match at Bet365: Liverpool win - 4/6 Draw - 3/1 Chelsea win - 4/1
