Sportingbet Cancels Group Marketing and Sales Position?
According to this week's reports, Sportingbet's Group Marketing and Sales position, which was under the leadership of Director Richard Howarth, has been made redundant. Howarth will leave the company after two years of serving and immediately following the group's acquisition by William Hill. Regarding this move, Sportingbet Group Australia chief executive officer Michael Sullivan said Howarth had been an "invaluable member" of the Group, adding that he and his team faced and conquered many challenges as the business continued to grow. On the other side, Howarth commented: β€œIt's incredibly competitive and fast moving and has all the challenges you'd expect from a digital marketing, acquisition and retention category. It has been a pleasure and great experience to direct the businesses marketing and serve on the board under the leadership of chief executive officer Michael Sullivan – and the camaraderie within the team.”
