The latest change that took place at Betfair Group plc includes the appointment of Alexander Gersh as its new chief financial officer and executive director effective December 3, 2012.
On the position, he will replace Stephen Morana who previously stated that he plans to step down on the appointment of a successor. Commenting on the new appointment, Morana said he will extend his relationship with Betfair for the next few months to ensure a smooth transition.
Prior to Betfair, Gersh was chief financial officer at NDS Group, a supplier of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, and at Flag Telecom.
