Fantasy sports industry has just become more competitive An announcement came this week of the acquisition of fantasy sports operator AmpedFantasy by a Los Angeles-based developer and aggregator of digital entertainment and sports information for online and mobile platforms, Global Gaming Network, Inc., for an undisclosed consideration. According to a statement from GBGM, the new owners plan to fully renovate the web site design and operations and get it ready for a re-launch in time for the NFL football season in early September.
