Unibet Appoints Media Agency for Its Ad Account
ZenithOptimedia agency chosen for ad campaign in Australia An announcement came this week from online European bookmaker Unibet that it has engaged media agency ZenithOptimedia to lead its expansion into the Australian online gambling market, with a campaign that involves a local television spot due to launch soon and created by the content division of ZenithOptimedia, Newcast. According to Unibet general manager Mads Joergensen, “We have very aggressive and ambitious plans for Australia and it was critical we chose a partner who matched these ambitions. We found that in ZenithOptimedia, and were very impressed with their all-round media skills. “It was important for us to get the right personality mix, and we are very happy with the team that is going to be supporting us. We really liked their open and engaging style." On the other side, ZenithOptimedia chief executive Ian Perrin said: “The online gambling market is a fast growing industry and we are pleased to partner with such a professional business as Unibet. They are market leaders in other parts of the world and we look forward to pushing them to similar success in Australia."
