Worthy account awarded to Arena Media

In the news from online betting exchange Betfair, it has been reported that the company has awarded its GBP 2 million media planning and buying account to Havas Media-owned agency Arena Media, apparently making the decision without calling for a pitch.

The ad account was previously held by Big Al's Creative Emporium since June 2011 and the digital account covering social media, mobile and online creative was awarded to Karmarama in October 2011.

Based on certain reports, the company spent GBP 1.9 million on media in 2010.
