LG Electronics and Two Way Partnership

Two Way, a gaming company from Australia, and LG Electronics Australia (LGE), smart TV manufacturer, have signed a three-year revenue sharing deal that will see the distribution of Two Way's TV sports betting service on LGE's range of smart TV's, Blue-ray players and home theatre systems.

In addition, an exclusive deal was made by Two Way with two Australian operators, Sportingbet Australia and Betfair, in order to build and operate TV wagering services. This development is at an advanced stage and due for launch around March 2012.

The applications will allow punters to place bets using their remote control on all sports events broadcast by free-to-air TV, pay TV, or any form of IPTV. Following regulatory approval, the company has expanded its TV wagering service in Queensland and South Australia with the provision of fixed odds betting. Also both tote odds betting and fixed odds betting are now available through the service in Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
