Update: ARJEL Gives Approval to Unibet’s Acquisition of Solfive

Platform rebranding to take place after all

Online gambling group Unibet announced this week that the French regulator ARJEL has issued its approval of the acquisition deal for Solfive, which has this way been finalized. This also means the opening of the way for Unibet to access the French market, which it previously departed due to high taxation.

Also, the company specified that the platform will be rebranded French-domained Eurosportbet to Unibet by January 1st 2012. Thanks to the ARJEL licensing, it will be able to offer regulated horse betting, sports betting and poker under the new domain.
