Service launched earlier this year is now extended
This week's news involve a report that the UK bookmaker Ladbrokes enables its mobile customers to have access to live streaming of AtTheRaces' (ATR) live coverage of all British and Irish horseraces, which is an extra service added to previously launched Racing UK service.
At the moment the service is available to iPhone users, while Android and other mobile platforms will be supported in the near future.
In the third quarter results the company stated growth in mobile revenues of 163 percent and is now planning further service developments including the launch of a new mobile platform in 2012.
Access to the live racing service, via the Ladbrokes App available at the iTunes store or by utilising an SMS option, costs customers a minimum GBP 1 bet.
"Mobile betting is growing rapidly and Ladbrokes customers have a leading range of services. We continue to develop it and aim to make it the first choice for mobile betting and gaming customers," said Richard Ames, Ladbrokes Managing Director, Products.
