Update: No Offer for Probability from Will Hill

UK bookmaker walks away An announcement arrived on Nov. 2 that the famous UK bookmaker William Hill Plc has withdrawn from preliminary acquisition talks with mobile tech firm Probability. The talks were initiated in September, and in October Will Hill got an extension by the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers panel. However, it was obviously not the time that Will Hill needed. What triggered the walkaway is not known yet, but there are speculations that it was the tension between Will Hill and its business partner and shareholder in Will Hill Online, online gambling software provider Playtech may be one of the causes for the decision.
