New Global Bets East Africa offering
A new online sportsbetting website has been launched this week by Global Bets East Africa, it was announced in the Ugandan press, without disclosing much information about the site's software, ownership or licensing.
However, the head of Globalbets-ea, an Ugandan businessman Mike Kinyera, specified that the site has been launched in association with TV broadcaster NTV Uganda and that it provides players with an innovative "Sure Bet" where football supporters of the winning team share the money betted by the supporters of the losing team, while losing punters get a payment as "a token of appreciation".
Kinyera also stated that the site is intended for "frequent travelers, busy individuals and corporates that don't want to be seen in betting halls and casinos," and that betting is done via the internet through a mobile platform.
In conclusion, he said: "We want to give sports betting experience with a difference to everyone as we aim to redefine the word convenience. Our one of the kind offer is the Sure Deal. With Sure Deal, a customer is guaranteed of walking away with a payment, you cannot lose!"
