Now Tabcorp Goes iPhone

Aussie gambling group launches a tote betting app on the App Store

The Australian gambling group Tabcorp has joined the rush to launch an iPhone service, announcing a tote betting app available for download from Apple’s iTunes App Store, and titled TAB Sportsbet iPhone.

Tabcorp boasts some 300 000 registered players, who will now be able to wager via Tabcorp’s mobile phone betting site at tab.mobi on NSW and Victorian TAB totilizator pools.

The race betting screens display the latest approximate dividends and pool amounts. All three racing codes are available across every bet type

Key features of the new service include:

• Betting on all tote racing bet types except parlay formula).
• Current and yesterday's racing results with dividends and pools, and Interim Results.
• Easy to read TAB Form for each runner.
• Set up to 10 notifications alerting the player when a runner or jockey is running.
• Weather and track information for every racecourse.
• Preference settings for chosen betting pool (NSW or Victoria), race codes and flexi bets.
