Tomorrow imarks the start of the much anticipated World Cup and to say that "football fever" is setting in here in the UK is an understatement.  The England flag (cross of St George) is flying from the windows of many cars, being painted on the sides of public bars and being displayed in windows across the country.

not just the heat but the altitude aswell

think it'll be between argentina and brazil, i'd say argentina have the best squad out of any of the teams but maradonna seems to be a weakness

The opening ceremony was just on and the first teams are on the pitch.  The FIFA president opens the World Cup 2010 to the sound of thousands of horns which sound like a swarm of bees! 

The stadium is almost packed to the rafters and it should be an exciting game.
