We English love discussing the weather - probably because it's usually so awful.

William Hill are no exception!

Here are some great weather odds:

2011 Weather Specials:

3/1 Temperature To Top 100f.
4/1 Record Ever Temperature of 101.3f.
9/1 Sunday 26th June Hottest Day of the year.

Top Temperature In UK: 16/1 80-84.9f, 9/4 85-89.9f, 2/1 90-94.9f, 5/2 95-99.9f, 3/1 100f plus

3/1 Wimbledon To Go Into 3rd Week!

Glastonbury Specials:

7/1 Power Failure during any one of the headline sets
16/1 Rain during Beyonce’s Set on Sunday.
Glastonbury Festival to take place in 2012: 1/10 no; 11/2 yes.

Good luck if you decide to have a bet.

These are quite funny bests in my view but I guess anything goes. I think that Wimbledon going into a third week would be a safe bet at this point Smiley

Do you really think that it will go into a third week Johnny?

I would be very surprised if it did but I guess anything can happen.  Has it ever happened before to your knowledge?

Yes, it did happen before. In theory the third round should be over by Sunday, we'll see if that will be the case. If not, and if there will be some rain next week too I can see the tournament ending on Monday instead of Sunday.

I did some research and I found this: the men's final was last played on a third Monday in 2001, when Goran Ivanisevic defeated Pat Rafter.

You are so right.  I do remember that now.  I recall everyone at work was furious because they didn't get to see the game.  Loads of people used to take the Wimbledon fortnight as their annual holiday.

This time it might be different though since the centre court has a roof, that could make a big difference.

True and a good point.
