Hi folks, Its kind of been a slow betting week for me, but i did do some betting over the weekend. It started out on saturday by just making a few wagers on the horse. I only had around $90 in my account so i was just nickle and dimeing it. The first bet i made was a pick 3 at Arlington park, which is try to get 3 winner in a row, the first race went as planned..i had 2 horses in that race and the one i wanted the most won..he paid $10.40 to win..which is 4-1 odds. I also had 2 horses in the next race, needless to say none of which were anywhere to be found at the end of the race. So say goodbye to that ticket, lost $8. I went on to make a few more bets which i won a few and lost a few more. It was on to the big race of the day, where i really liked a horse and bet $25 to win and place, ticket cost $50..the race was working out like i handicapped the race, but he just ran out of gas by the finish., so i eneded up losing most of my $90 bankroll. I did make one more bet last night on the football game. The Buffalo Bills were playing the Tenessee Titans in the first betting game of the year, i made a small $30 wager on over the total. The total points the sportsbook posted for the game was 36, and the final score was Ten. 21 Buffalo 18, so there was 39 total points scored in the game and i ended up winning that bet, not an exciting weekend of gambling but we all have had them kind of days. Thanks for reading. Tony

Football betting season is back., and it didn't start out on a good note last night.
I decided to make a $100 bet on the NY giants, they were at home playing the Carolina Panthers and they were a 7.5 point favorite.
So i sit back and relax with my good friend bud-Wieser, and start enjoying the game.
Even though it was only preseason it was regular season for me as i had real money on the game...so im screaming and yelling and the TV like theres no tomorrow.
Things were looking good in the 4th quaurter as the giants we up 17-9..so at that time im covering the spread by a half point. But carolina scores to tie the game..so there goes the remote flying accross the room..it was a tie game with less then 10 seconds left..carolina had the ball and threw an interception and the Giants run it back for a touchdown with no time on the clock and won the game 24-17.
F**** i scream at the top of my lungs.
Even though Ny won the game by 7 points i lost my $100 bet by a freakin half point.
God i love betting on sports.
Tony

Last night was about as easy as it gets. I decided to make a bet on a NFL preseason game and when i looked at the odds i couldn't believe what i saw. The Philadelphia Eagles were a 3 point favorite on the road over the Indianapolis Colts, i thought it was a mistake, even though its preseason, that line couldn't be right. So i made a $100 wager on the Colts getting 3 points at home. It was like taking candy from a baby, the game was never in doubt as the Colts won the game 23-15. If you study and do your homework you can make money in sportsbetting since theres a human element involved, but the key is discipline. Tony

Preseason is alot tougher to handicap since they dont play the starters the whole game. But i did bet on the games but not alot..heres who i played Tenn.+2.5 Atlanta-3 K.C. +3.5

I went ahead and made 3 wagers on the NFL preseason last night and went 1-2, its real tough to try and figure out preseason but i love to bet the NFL.
I am gonna make 3 more bets for tonights game and i feel real good about these bets so I'm gonna up my wages just a tad.
I will be betting on the Detroit Lions +3 vs the Cleveland Browns, the Washington Redskins-3 vs the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints +3 vs the Houston Texans.
These games look pretty easy but as we all know nothing is for certain, that's why they call it gambling.
Good luck to all of those gambling today.
Tony

Tony, I love to live varcariously through your posts. I bet football games years ago, but quit when I had to take out one of those high cost, "shady" loans to pay off the bookie. I remember the guy at the loan place asking me what I was going to do with the money. I told him we were going to take a cruise. And some cruise it was! So you are betting Detroit? What's your theory on that? I know (I think) they won all their preseason games last year and then didn't win a game in the regular season. Are they going to be better this year or are you going by the past? medtrans

I dont do that anymore i bet online where you have to have the money up front to bet, i dont need bubba coming after me with a baseball bat to break my kneecaps. I am betting Detroit tonight because the game is here in Cleveland and like you said, they have won 5 straight preseason games. they should win 4 or 5 this year which is better then last year when they were the first team to ever go 0-16. It's time to get back into action tonight.
Its the 3rd week of the preseason and this is the week that most teams are gonna play there starters the longest.
There are 3 games to bet on tonight and you better believe I'm gonna bet on all 3, and since i only broke even last week going 3-3 its time to up the ante a little.
I'm gonna be placing $150 wagers on each of these games and i feel real good that I'm gonna make some dough tonight.
here's who I'm gonna be betting.
Philadelphia Eagles -7 over the Jacksonville Jaguars St. Louis Rams +2.5 over the Cincy Bengels Tampa Bay Bucs -2.5 over the Miami Dolphins
If i don't win at least 2 of these games i will not be a happy better.
Good luck to all gambling today.
Tony
