As i was kickin back on the sofa enjoying my brews, watching the game and waiting for my girl to get home..which was after i fell asleep so that sort of bummed me out, i realized that handicapping a football game is not an exact science.
I made my bet based on the quarterback of Cincinnati, and don't you know it, he gets hurt half way through the game, so i am thinking my bet is going down the drain.
Quite the opposite, the back up QB came in and did just as good a job if not better then the starting QB as Cincinnati went on to blow out S.Florida 34-17 to start my week off on a really high note as i wagered and won $300 to kick the bankroll back over the 2G mark.
Game My bet Final Score
Cincinnati -3 Cincinnati 34 at Cincinnati -3 S.Florida 17 S.Florida Won
One game tonight and just gonna wager $100 to have a little action while watching and enjoying some Friday night cocktails.
Game My Bet
Pittsburgh -5 at Pittsburgh -5 Rutgers
Hopefully i won't be watching alone tonight.
Good luck everyone and enjoy your Friday.
Tony

Another winner last night!!! Now i don't feel so bad for dropping $600 last Saturday.
I won back $400 of that over the last 2 nights. There are TONS of great games today, so no answering the door, no answering the phone..well only if one certain person calls.
Like Kenny Chesney sings.. "this is our moment, this is our time". I'm like a kid in a candy store today so many goodies to choose from i don't know where to begin.
After Pittsburgh beat Rutgers last night 24-17 my bankroll is up to +2175.
I'm gonna take a big swing at 7 games today for $250 each.
Games My plays N.Western at Mich. St -14 Mich. St -14
Wake Forest at Clemson -7 Clemson -7
Oklahoma vs Oklahoma +3.5 Texas -3.5
California -4 at U.C.L.A +4 U.C.L.A
Texas Tech at Nebraska -9 Nebraska -9
S.Carolina at S.Carolina +19 Alabama -19
Miami(Fla.) -13 at Miami (Fla.) -13 C.Florida
No phone calls..no visitors..just me my bud-lites and my remote.
Good luck and lets win a ton of dough.

Phewwwwww. I had to sweat out the late game last night to make a profit for the day. All worked out in the end though. I won 4 and lost 3 on the day, made a $250 profit so i am a happy camper. My bankroll for the year is still very hefty and sitting at + 2425. Now it's time to play the Pros's, much tougher trying to handicap then college, but gonna take a swing at 6 games today for $150 each. Games My Plays Cleveland at Pittsburgh -14 Pittsburgh -14 Kansas City at Kansas City +6 Washington -6 Detroit at Green Bay -14 Green Bay -14 Arizona at Arizona +3 Seattle -3 Tennessee at New England -9 New England -9 Chicago at Chicago +3 Atlanta -3 I can't believe i am putting my $ on the Pittsburgh Steelers, for one they are playing my team, but they should beat us by at least 20 points. Good luck folks Tony

I have kind of been in a betting coma this week.
After coming off a Sunday where i was just a Chicago Bears win from being perfect, i took my 5 wins and only 1 loss and just banked it and sat and enjoyed a GREAT winning day.
I made $600 more smackers on Sunday taking my bankroll over the 3k mark for the 1st time this year and it now stands at +$3025.
Even though there is 50 games to choose from today not many games stick out to me, i will only be betting on 6 of them but for $300 each.
It's rainy, windy and chilly here in the midwest so what better place to hang out and enjoy the day then on my couch with my 2 best friends, bud-wieser and Ronny Remote.
Games My Plays
S.Florida at Pittsburgh -6 Pittsburgh -6
U.Conn. at U.Conn +8 W.Virginia -8
Penn. St. -4.5 at Michigan +4.5 Michigan
Tennessee at Alabama -14 Alabama -14
Temple at Toledo -3 Toledo -3
T.C.U -2.5 at T.C.U -2.5 B.Y.U
Stay warm and dry and enjoy your Saturday. Good Luck.
Tony

Time to get back in the game.
I have been sitting on the "betting' sidelines for a week and am starting to get the shakes, i only went 3-3 my last betting venture and decided to take the week off from wagering. But as all of us gamblers know we can only stay away for so long.
My bankroll for the year is very tasty at a +3075 so i am gonna up my bets a little this week to $350 a game.
Games My Bets
Houston -3.5 at Buffalo +3.5 Buffalo
St. Louis at Detroit -4( this is the 1st time in almost 2 years Detroit -4 that Detroit is the favorite)
Cleveland at Chicago -13( yes, i am betting against my team) Chicago -13
N.Y.Giants at N.Y.Giants+1 Philly -1
Minnesota at Minnesota+3.5( Bret Favre goes back to play his Green Bay -3.5 team and beats them again)
Hope everyone got lots of candy last night and good luck on your wagers.
Tony

"My bankroll for the year is very tasty" I like that Tony!
I agree with you on Minn. I think they will beat my Packers today. I have a few tasty bets on this game myself. Betters for the Packers are easy to find in this area.
Good luck to both of us.

A little change in direction today as I'm gonna leave football alone and bet on the breeders cup. This is the way i see the $5,000,000 breeder's cup classic, if i correctly pick the top 10 finishers in the classic in exact order i win $25,000 from playersonly sportsbook. Ya right, its hard enough to pick the winner but might as well give it a whirl. 1st-Rip Van Winkle 4-1 2nd-Zenyatta 5-2 3rd-Mine That Bird 12-1 4th-Summer Bird 9-2 5th-Colonel John 12-1 6th-Gio Ponti 12-1 7th-Quality Road 12-1 8th-Richard's Kid 12-1 9th-Einstein 15-1 10th-Awesome Gem 30-1 Steak dinner and drinks on me if i get lucky. It was a nice and relaxing day at the racetrack.
I decided to get the heck away from this computer for a while and go bet on some ponies.
The Cleveland Browns didn't play today, they get to embarrass themselves on national TV tomorrow night on Monday night football.
So i take a small bankroll of $200 to my local track and begin to fire away, ohhhh...first i grab one of those over priced watered down bud lights and grab a seat at the finish line bar.
I ususally start out with small win/place bets, but today i tried a little something different, i bet a pic3 with 3 horses in each race the cost of the ticket is $27, reasonable, but right of the bat not one of my horses wins in the first race.
So there goes that ticket onto the floor. So i try to get a little bit of that loss back by betting on one of the 3 horses i was using in the next race, so i bet $10 to win and place on the 2 horse, yeeeeeeeeeee hawwwwwwwww..he wins and pays $9.20 to win and $5.00 to place, so on my $20 bet i get to collect $70 for a $50 profit.
Lets just say the next 3 hours was alllllll down hill, i only hit one more race the rest of the afternoon, so i packed it in and headed for the car for that longggggg 10 minute ride home.
I am not mad at all for losing most of my bankroll, at least i didn't have to spend another Sunday crying in my beer over my Browns losing.
