Tiger Woods Spits.............

Hi Members,

Tiger Woods once again is under controversy. He was playing golf and he did the unthinkable he spit on the green! Apparently it is in the handbook of golf that spitting is a big no no.

Some have there undies in bundie cuz he did this. Do you think this is being a bit ridiculous or was he showing total disrespect to the golf community?

I don't care if he spits because he really needed to, but if it was for some other reason, like out of anger, that's not nice.  I didn't read about it, but saw a picture with an ugly expression like he was disgusted pasted all over yahoo.

I hate to see men (and women) spit - it really does make me feel quite sick.  He shouldn't have done it on camera for sure and he probably knew that doing it on the green was a definite no.

He should have spit inside his t-shirt if he was really really feeling the urge to do that. I only spit when I'm at the dentist and that's because the doctor tells me to

I feel like a hillbilly.  Growing up in the country, we spit where we wanted to spit.  Outdoors, on grass, that is, and probably not on the green.  I was utterly confused when once I deliberately went and spit in the trashcan, thinking that was okay.  My dad threw a fit!  I was like, well what the hell do you want me to do go outside and spit?  I was truly mystified.  I think he suggested the sink.  That just didn't seem right.  We wash the dishes there-I had thought about there before I used the trash can!  I tried swallowing instead of spitting, but from what I've seen on people's faces, that seems to be even worse!   Anyway, I think I've smartened up a little bit and will definitely not spit near any of you folks!  Deal?

Once I was at a hamburger joint and there was an older gentleman there with his son, who was probably in his 20s or 30s.  I didn't see it, but I heard the son say "DAD!!!  You can't just spit on the floor here!"  I think the old man was suffering from alzheimer's.  I didn't get disgusted or complain, just felt sorry for the both of them.
