Sugar Ray Robinson-  held the world welterweight title from 1946 to 1951, then was the middleweight champion five times between 1951 and 1960. At his peak, his record was 128-1-2 with 84 knockouts. And he never took a 10-count in his 200 fights, though he once suffered a TKO. American great suffering from Alzheimer's disease and diabetes, died at age 67 on April 12, 1989, in Culver City, Calif.

Nigel Mansell - former British racing driver, has who won both the Formula One World Championship in 1992 and the CART Indy Car World Series one year later. He has received the Order of the British Empire for his achievements.

Theodore Samuel "Ted" Williams (August 30, 1918 – July 5, 2002) was an American professional baseball player and manager. He played his entire 21-year Major League Baseball career as the left fielder for the Boston Red Sox .Williams was the last player in Major League Baseball to bat over .400 in a single season (.406 in 1941). Williams holds the highest career batting average of anyone with 500 or more home runs.

Salvatore Schillaci - former Italian soccer player, probably the most prominent player at the 1990 World Cup when he won the Golden Boot after scoring six goals in the tournament. Schillaci actually made his debut at the national team during the World cup and he made such an impact that the Italians still remember that World Cup as "the magical nights of Schillaci".

Ian James Thorpe-
born October 13, 1982 is an Australian swimmer, he's regarded as one of the greatest middle-distance swimmers, of all time, after winning the 200 and 400 metre freestyle races at the 2004 Olympics, in Athens. He has won five Olympic gold medals.

Eric Heiden - American former long track speed skater, he has won all the men's speed skating races and an unprecedented five individual gold medals, and set four Olympic records and one world record at the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid.

Norman Whiteside born 7 May 1965 is a former Northern Ireland international footballer who played in two World Cups.  He also played for Man U and Everton.  His career ended at the age of 26 because of injury.
