The N.Y. Yankees are still one win away from there 1st World Series victory since 2000.

The Philadelphia Phillies started out like a ball of fire last night and held on to win 8-6 to send the series back to New York for at least one more game. The Yankees lead the best of 7 series 3 games to 2.

Hi lips,

They are the defending champs, they won the World Series last year and are trying to be the 1st team in the repeat as champs since New York did it back in 1999 and 2000.

They have some work ahead of them though.

You don't have to be from Boston to hate the Yankees Nal,

I think everyone outside of New York can't stand the Yankees, and i am one of them as well.
