Another breaking heart news and this is a very very sad story. Cry

A 39 year old man died after falling out of the stands while trying to catch a baseball tossed his way during the team's Thursday night game against but lost his balance.

What makes it sadder is that his young son who is just 6 year old, was there and saw the whole thing...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and especially for his young son.

I heard about this on my local news but didn't know his son was with him.To lose a parent at such a young age is bad enough but to witness his death is terrible.I'm sure he will live with that image for a long time.I can't imagine how the player feels or the guilt he must be feeling. He was more than likely doing it for the little boy too....how sad for everyone involved.

this story gets sadder by the hour,
the father was a fireman who had stopped on the way to the game, to get a baseball so that one of the Rangers could sign it.

It always happens to the goodguys,

gl all,

Oh I know,imakin...
Saw that he had been a fireman for over 18 years and he was more concerned about his young son than himself until the end.
This story/news truly puts tears in my eyes.
