It was a good evening for Brighton anyway, they don't get to play Liverpool too often...

True.  They did well to pull back that goal (albeit a penalty).

I asked my son who he would be supporting and he said "It has to be Liverpool, I've always supported them".  I guess he was happy with the result.

Tuesday 24th January

Cardiff City      vs      Crystal Palace

Man City vs Liverpool is the real final, it's too bad that one of the two won't reach the last match. I think that whoever wins that semi final will lift the trophy because Cardiff or Crystal Palace are a lot weaker.

I'm inclined to agree Johnny.

We can't have Crystal Palace winning the Carling Cup - Brighton and Hove Albion would never hear the last of it Laugh out Loud.

Liverpool are in a great position at the moment, I'd say that they already have one hand on the cup. But the second leg against Man City will be fierce, that will be the real final.

I'm inclined to agree with you Johnny.

I would love to see Liverpool win the entire tournament.  My son would be thrilled that's for sure.

Liverpool are clear favourites, I don't think they will miss this opportunity to put their hands on some silverware after a very long drought.
