There was quite a shock in London yesterday: last year's finalist Rafael Nadal is out of the tournament! The Spanish ace was defeated by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who reaches the semi finals alongside Roger Federer who won again even though Mardy Fish put up a brave fight. (6) J Tsonga defeats (2) R Nadal 76(2) 46 63 (4) R Federer defeats ( 8 ) M Fish 61 36 63 Tsonga and Federer will find out who they will face in the semi finals today, here are the odds for the last two group matches from Intertops: Novak Djokovic v Janko TipsarevicNovak Djokovic -320 Janko Tipsarevic +235 David Ferrer v Tomas BerdychDavid Ferrer -125 Tomas Berdych -105 Good luck!

It's official now: Novak Djokovic is out of the tournament and not because of an injury! Fellow Serbian Janko Tipsarevic defeated Djokovic in three sets but none of the two men will reach the semi final, it's Berdych and Ferrer who advance to the last four. (9) J Tipsarevic defeats (1) N Djokovic 36 63 63 (7) T Berdych defeats (5) D Ferrer 36 75 61 Here are the semi finals odds from Intertops: David Ferrer v Roger Federer David Ferrer +575 Roger Federer -950 Tomas Berdych v Jo Wilfried Tsonga Tomas Berdych +125 Jo Wilfried Tsonga -160 Good luck!

There was no tension in the semi finals, the two favourites cruised through their matches. Both Federer and Tsonga needed just two sets to get past Ferrer and Berdych and advance to the big final. It's worth noting that it will be Roger Federer's 100th ATP tour final! (4) R Federer defeats (5) D Ferrer 75 63 (6) J Tsonga defeats (7) T Berdych 63 75 Here are the odds for the big final from Intertops: Roger Federer v Jo Wilfried Tsonga Roger Federer -370 Jo Wilfried Tsonga +265 Good luck!

Will you have a bet on this match Johnny?
I wouldn't know who to pick tbh. Tsonga seems to be very strong and could well win.

I don't think I'll bet on this one but I'm pretty sure that it's Federer that's going to win. Tsonga is in good shape, that's true, but I think there's a difference in class between the two. Federer is a champion, Tsonga is just a very good player. I could be proven wrong though

I think Federer is winning this one, for me he is the most complete player.

I agree, he is the most complete but he was unable to play his best tennis on a regular basis during the past couple of years. If he plays his best tennis nobody can beat him.

As I expected Roger Federer won the ATP World Tour Finals after a hard-fought match against Tsonga. The Frenchman gave the Swiss champion a run for his money but in the end Federer prevailed in three sets.
(4) R Federer defeats (6) J Tsonga 63 67(6) 63
The tennis season is now over, here's how the World top 10 looks like for this year:
1 Djokovic, Novak (SRB) 2 Nadal, Rafael (ESP) 3 Federer, Roger (SUI) 4 Murray, Andy (GBR) 5 Ferrer, David (ESP) 6 Tsonga, Jo-Wilfried (FRA) 7 Berdych, Tomas (CZE) 8 Fish, Mardy (USA) 9 Tipsarevic, Janko (SRB) 10 Almagro, Nicolas (ESP)

Well done to Federer. Thanks for the list too Johnny. Nice to see Djokovic as number 1.

yep, Ferderer won. Johnny you are right if he plays his best tennis there is no one who can beat him. I have to confess that as a Spanish I have a soft spot for Rafa Nadal but I still think that Federer is the best player all around.
