The final tournament of the tennis season will take place next week in London, a special tournament that will feature only the best eight players in the world. They will be split into two groups and then the top two placed in each group will qualify for the semi finals.

Here are the participants and the outright odds from Intertops:

To win the ATP World Tour Finals
Roger Federer    +185
Andy Murray    +250
Novak Djokovic    +400
Rafael Nadal    +500
Jo Wilfried Tsonga    +1400
Tomas Berdych    +2000
David Ferrer    +5000
Mardy Fish    +5000

Normally I would bet on Djokovic but his recent injury problems make it a rather risky bet.

The odds speak volumes here Johnny.  What a shame that Djokovic has this injury as I'm sure he would walk it otherwise.

I agree but I still hope that he will pull it off Wink However, the bookmakers are right this time, Federer is the favourite.

I love the name Mardy Fish.  Mardy means sulky or whining so you can see where I'm coming from here Laugh out Loud.

Thanks for the update/updated info Johnny.

Roger Federer is the first man to reach the semi finals after defeating Rafael Nadal in straight sets. Nadal will have to battle it out against Tsonga in the final group match because the Frenchman defeated Mardy Fish and is still in with a good chance to reach the last four.

(4)      R Federer  defeats     (2)      R Nadal     63 60
(6)    J Tsonga    defeats    ( 8 )    M Fish    76(4) 61

Group B Standings
1 Roger Feder  2 wins - 0 losses
2 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 1-1
3 Rafael Nadal 1-1
4 Mardy Fish 0-2

Here are today's odds from Intertops:

Janko Tipsarevic v Tomas Berdych
 Janko Tipsarevic   +170
 Tomas Berdych   -220

Novak Djokovic v David Ferrer
 Novak Djokovic   -330
 David Ferrer   +240

As you can see there is a new player in the tournament: Janko Tipsarevic. The Serbian has replaced Andy Murray who announced that he can't continue due to an injury.

Good luck!
